These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of peptidelabapp.com(the “Site”) and the PeptideLab mobile application (the “App,” together with the Site, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. What the Service is and is not
PeptideLab is a personal tracking tool. It is an instrument that lets you record, organize, and visualize information about your own biology and the things you choose to take or do — protocols, doses, schedules, supplements, peptides, hormones, custom compounds, measurements, observations, and anything else you create as a trackable item in the App. It is provided for informational and self-tracking purposes only.
The Service is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. It does not provide medical advice. Information surfaced in the Service — including dose calculations, schedules, reference materials, and reminders — is not a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any protocol.
The Service does not sell, distribute, source, recommend, prescribe, or facilitate the acquisition of any substance. We are a tool for recording and visualizing what you choose to track. We make no representation about the safety, legality, quality, efficacy, or appropriateness of any compound, supplement, hormone, peptide, or other substance you choose to record in the App.
3. Lab Assistant AI
The App includes an optional AI feature, “Lab Assistant.” Using it is your choice; the rest of the Service works without it. When you use Lab Assistant, your request and the context relevant to it are sent to one or more third-party AI providers, including Anthropic, which generate the response. Your use of those providers is also subject to their terms, as described in Section 10.
Lab Assistant produces automated output. That output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for your individual circumstances. Treat it as general information to inform your own research — not as a definitive or personalized answer.
Lab Assistant is not medical advice and is not for emergencies. Do not rely on it to diagnose or treat any condition, to make dosing decisions, or to start, stop, or change a protocol. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health decisions. The disclaimers and limitations in Sections 2, 11, and 12 apply fully to Lab Assistant and its output.
4. Your responsibilities
- Accuracy of data: you are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for any decisions you make based on it. The Service performs calculations and shows visualizations based on what you enter; if you enter incorrect inputs, the outputs will be incorrect.
- Your health decisions: you alone are responsible for decisions about your health and the substances you choose to take. The Service does not make these decisions for you.
- AI output: if you use Lab Assistant, you are responsible for how you use its responses. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date; verify anything important with a qualified professional before acting on it, and never treat it as medical advice.
- Legal compliance: you are responsible for understanding and complying with all laws and regulations that apply to your purchase, possession, and use of any substance you choose to track. This includes drug laws, prescription requirements, import regulations, and any other applicable rules in your jurisdiction. The Service does not facilitate any aspect of acquisition, possession, or use.
- Account security: you are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Backups: you are responsible for keeping your own copies of important data. While we offer cloud backup as a feature, you should not treat any single backup mechanism as a guarantee against data loss.
5. Account and account security
To use account-based features of the App (such as cloud backup or restoring data on a new device), you will need to create an account. Authentication is handled through magic links sent to your email or through third-party sign-in providers such as Apple or Google. We do not store passwords.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account, to keep it up to date, not to share or transfer your account, and to notify us promptly at support@peptidelabapp.com of any unauthorized use.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including to facilitate the illegal purchase, sale, distribution, or use of any substance.
- Use the Service to provide medical advice to other people, to solicit medical advice from us, or to represent the Service as something it is not.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, attempt to gain unauthorized access to, or probe the security of the Service or its underlying systems.
- Scrape, bulk-download, or use automated means to access the Service in a way that exceeds normal individual use.
- Upload content that infringes another party’s rights, that is unlawful, that violates the privacy of others, or that is intended to deceive or harm.
- Use the Service to harass, abuse, defame, or solicit medical advice from other users (if and when community features become available).
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service (“Your Content”), including protocols, notes, photos, logs, and any custom compounds or items you define.
You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and back up Your Content solely as needed to operate and provide the Service to you. This license is the minimum necessary to make the Service function — for example, to display your protocols back to you on screen, to back them up if you have enabled cloud backup, and to deliver them to you on a new device when you restore.
We will not use Your Content to train machine-learning models, to build features that profile you, or to create data products without your explicit, separate, informed opt-in. You can withdraw any such opt-in at any time.
8. Subscriptions and payments
Some features of the App may be offered on a paid basis. Pricing, billing periods, free trial terms (if any), and renewal terms will be presented at the point of purchase. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store are governed by those platforms’ payment, billing, and refund policies. To cancel a subscription, manage it through your App Store or Play Store account settings.
If we offer purchases made directly through the Site or App outside of an app store, the specific payment, billing, and refund terms will be presented at the point of purchase and incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Intellectual property
The Service — including its software, source code, design, logos, brand elements, content we create, and the overall look and feel — is owned by PeptideLab and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, redistribute, sublicense, or create derivative works of the Service, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or by applicable law.
10. Third-party content and integrations
The Service may include links to or integrations with third-party websites, content, or services (such as health platforms, sign-in providers, content sources, and AI providers — including Anthropic — that power Lab Assistant). We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that third party’s terms and privacy policy.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DATA WILL BE PRESERVED.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR HEALTH OUTCOME, OR PROVIDE ACCURATE OR APPROPRIATE INFORMATION FOR YOUR INDIVIDUAL CIRCUMSTANCES. ALL DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON INFORMATION FROM OR ENTERED INTO THE SERVICE ARE YOUR OWN.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEPTIDELAB AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR HEALTH OUTCOMES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR THE SUBSTANCES YOU CHOOSE TO TRACK, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO PORTIONS OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PeptideLab and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, (d) the substances you choose to obtain, possess, or use, or (e) decisions about your health that you make based on information you tracked in or derived from the Service.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. In the App, go to Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete Account.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, if we reasonably believe your continued use poses a legal or security risk, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (for example, ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution).
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
